Even though the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle happened weeks ago, the eyes of the world are still on the newly married couple. A good amount of the attention is on Markle as the one time Hollywood actress starts her new life as a member of the Royal Family.
Much of the attention directed towards Meghan focuses on her looks and overall appearance. People around the world are rushing to visit plastic surgeons in order to get the “Markle Sparkle” and look more like her on a permanent basis.
However, there are some people who don’t believe that the beauty shown by Markle is real. The Globe, a tabloid magazine found at newsstands and supermarkets, is claiming that Meghan Markle is not a natural beauty. The magazine says that it spoke with a number of top plastic surgery experts in an effort to examine the appearance and features of Markle. These experts told the publication that the former star of “Suits” has actually undergone a number of cosmetic procedures in order to enhance and improve her looks.
Who did the Globe Talk to?
The sources that spoke to the magazine were a trio of cosmetic surgery experts. These three sources closely studied “before and after” photos of the 36-year-old wife of Prince Harry. The study was done to determine if the actress did indeed have plastic surgery to change her appearance over the years.
What did the Sources Say?
The three sources made some sensational claims when they spoke to the magazine about Markle. They claim she has undergone a boob job/breast enhancement and augmentation as well as a nose job AKA rhinoplasty. They also say she had dental work and multiple skin procedures performed on her body.
One of the sources is Dr. Yoel Shahar who is a plastic surgeon based in New York City. Dr. Shahar told the magazine that “her breasts have clearly augmented. You can see that from the side where muscle had been replaced with enhancements.” Breast augmentation is when the shape and size of the breasts are enhanced or enlarged. It is most often performed though the placement of implants made of silicone or saline. They are placed behind the breasts in the area either above or below the pectoral muscle. Fat grafting can also be performed to enhance the breasts. Breast augmentation is used to add volume to smaller breasts and provide a fuller figure to patients. It can also be performed to give the patient a set of breasts that are symmetrical.
Dr. Shahar also addressed the issue of rhinoplasty for Markle. He told the magazine, “You can also see her nose is straighter with smoother lines than it was when she was a kid.” Rhinoplasty changes the appearance of the nose as well as its size or shape. In general, the procedure is performed in order to balance out the facial features and, in some cases, improve the ability of patients to breathe.
One of the other experts interviewed by the magazine was Dr. Otto Placik, a Chicago based plastic surgeon. When discussing her breasts, he remarked that they are “completely commensurate with her age, position and composure.” He also feels that Markle had some cosmetic dentistry performed on her teeth because “she clearly had her teeth whitened and the gaps closed with braces.”
The final expert interviewed by Globe was Dr. Lyle Back. Dr. Back is a cosmetic surgeon from New Jersey and he praised her complexion. Beck says that Markle’s skin care routine is the main reason behind her healthy complexion. He told the publication, “She has a healthy and natural look. It's being moisturized and cleansed. I'd also surmise that she's using sun blockers and getting regular exfoliation and facials” He ended by saying, “She's absolutely beautiful.”
Until Markle, or any other member of the Royal Family, decides to publicly address the whispers about her cosmetic surgery, there will likely never be a definitive answer regarding any enhancements made to her appearance. However, this will not stop her fans from speculating about how she achieves her youthful appearance. It also won’t stop other from making guesses about which cosmetic surgeries have been used by Markle to maintain her current appearance.
