Is my hair transplant a failure?

I had a FUE hair transplant around 95 days ago (2200 grafts on the front area and the sides). It has been a little over 3 months and I have not seen a good deal of regrowth yet. Is my hair transplant a failure?

When to see the result of a hair transplant

3 months is not enough time to see the result of a hair transplant. Hair follicles usually go to the resting phase by losing the hair shaft and they only start growing hair after 4-6 weeks from the hair transplant. After the resting phase, the newly growing hair will appear as fine microscopic hairs that become longer and thicker over the next few months. Most people start noticing minimal growth after the first 3 months but it is not uncommon if you don't see any improvement within the first 4 months. We usually bring patients back on their eight months after their procedure to see most of the result. Most people continue to see improvement until 12 to 18 months after their hair restoration procedure.
