PrecisionTx is a minimally invasive laser liposuction procedure used to tighten the skin on the neck and jawline. It’s also used to ablate the sweat glands in the armpit to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). A series of 3 small incisions are usually made below the chin. A very thin laser tube is inserted through the incisions to deliver laser energy to the areas being treated and to liquefy excess fat and heat loose or sagging skin from within. The laser energy causes tissues to contract and promote new collagen growth for thicker skin.

PrecisionTx is ideal for candidates who want to tighten loose skin and reduce or eliminate unwanted neck and fat under the chin. Patients with a history of extreme allergies, heart problems, medical conditions or infections that can impair the healing process are not good candidates.

The cost ranges from $2500-$5000. The final cost depends on the surgical facility fees, the surgeon’s level of expertise and the geographic location of the procedure.

The procedure produces toned, smooth and firm looking skin. There could be slight swelling, soreness and bruising which resolve in a couple of days. Patients are required to wear a compression garment for the first 48 hours and then only at night for 4-6 weeks to reduce swelling and the accummulation of fluid. The results continue to improve over the next 3-6 months. The final results can last for a period of 2-3 years.
