DeepFX


DeepFX is a fractional laser resurfacing procedure that penetrates beneath the skin's surface to repair deep lines, wrinkles and scars. The DeepFX handpiece is glided across the areas being treated while delivering laser energy to create thousands of pinpoint holes in a random, computer-generated pattern. The laser heats targeted areas while leaving the surrounding tissue untouched. The heat triggers long-term collagen production in the skin's deeper layers to result in softer, smoother skin.

Ideal candidates want to treat fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, freckles, mild to moderate folds and sun spots. The procedure is also suitable for patients who want to improve the tone and texture of the skin.

The typical cost ranges from $1000-$5000. The final cost depends on the number of treatments performed, the severity of the condition being treated, the surgeon’s level of expertise and the geographic location of the procedure.

The procedure rejuvenates the skin and restores radiance. The time needed for recovery depends on the area treated. Recovery for facial treatments takes 3-5 days while recovery for neck or chest treatments takes longer. After the treatment, patients may experience mild redness, swelling and bruising. Results can be seen shortly after the procedure and will continue to improve over the next 2-3 months.
