Once these areas of the mouth are protected, hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the teeth using a tray or a small brush. The recovery process from Zoom teeth whitening is not difficult for patients. They might feel a small tingling sensation but this sensation will resolve on its own. In addition, practicing proper oral hygiene after Zoom teeth whitening can help the results last for a long time because brushing the teeth on a regular basis is critical in keeping stains from reappearing on the teeth. Finally, regular visits to the dentist can help patients maintain white, bright teeth that make the mouth look healthy in appearance. The results generally last for 18 months before a patient needs to have a follow-up treatment.
