Heidi Kulm is as well-known for her career as a runway model as she is for being a reality TV host and competition judge. Her sense of style is apparent to the public along with her youthful look in front of the camera. Heidi’s appearance has been examined by the public recently as she has been the subject of celebrity plastic surgery gossip regarding a possible facelift. Why do fans of the forty-nine-year-old model think she might have undergone plastic surgery to maintain a youthful look to the face? The answers are waiting below!
The popular celebrity Instagram account, CelebFace, featured photos of Klum from this year along with a few years ago in order to compare her appearance during Oscars Season. The account showed photos of the model and TV star from the Vanity Fair Oscars parties of 2018 and 2023. While there were multiple celebrities who were featured by the account, Heidi created a good deal of attention with some of her fans commenting that she seems to be “aging backwards.”
In the 2018 image shared by the Instagram account, Klum was forty-four at the time and her beaming smile was apparent as she wore a yellow outfit along with straight hair that went past her shoulders.
The second image was taken last month, and her hairstyle changed to feature bangs that gave Heidi a glamorous look. However, it was the smooth appearance of her face and the tight look of the skin that caused the public to examine her look carefully.
Many of her fans took to social media to share their thoughts about the ongoing youthful look of the superstar model:
Even though many of her fans praised her appearance, there were others who were curious if plastic surgery was the reason behind her look at the Oscars party:
This is not the first time that the model and reality TV show host has been suspected of having a cosmetic procedure to enhance or maintain her look. However, she has discussed the topic in the past and has also publicly denied having any type of surgical procedure performed on her face or elsewhere on her body.
Back in 2012, she told a magazine reporter, “Ask me again when I’m 65, but…I’m proud to be able to say, in this day and age, I haven’t done anything. Everyone has a view of what’s pretty and what’s not pretty, and [surgery] just doesn’t look pretty to me. Especially when I see it on really young girls.”
Klum went on to add, “I don’ want to name names, but it’s like, “wow, I remember you five years ago, looking to me so beautiful, and now it’s like…who is this person? And I know girls half my age who do it. What are they gonna do at 40 or 50, when the s**t really hits the fan?”
Heidi later told another reporter that she fears going under the knife more than she fears the aging process. “Botox or bangs. I go for bangs. I’m scared that all of a sudden you’re changing too much, your face starts changing. I would have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing something that I’m not used to seeing. I’d be afraid.”
The invasive surgical procedure known as a facelift is performed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the face as well as other visible signs of the aging process. The purpose of the procedure is to enhance and improve the look of the jaw and face. During a facelift, the surgeon lifts the underlying muscles and also tightens them to provide an improved contour to the treated area. The surgery also rejuvenates the structure of the face by removing excess fat and skin.
There are multiple options available to surgeons when it comes to performing a facelift and the final decision depends on the individual needs of the patient and the desired final results. A full facelift is able to address the area of the face that is located below the eyes as well as sagging cheeks, lines that have formed around the mouth, and excess skin and fat at the jowls. A lower facelift address issues with the bottom third of the face such as jowls, sagging corners of the mouth, and nasolabial folds. A mid-facelift improves the look of the tissue that is located around the cheeks and below the eyes of the patient. Finally, a mini facelift is a surgical technique that provides an improvement to the appearance of the jaw, lower cheeks, and the neck.
