Celebrities that Removed Their Breast Implants
Chrissy Teigen – In March of this year, before the COVID-19 related lockdowns, Chrissy Teigen made her feelings clear about her breast implants. The TV personality and successful author told Glamour UK, “I want them out now.” Teigen had to put her breast implant removal plans on hold after elective surgeries were suspended in California due to safety concerns surrounding coronavirus.
The restrictions on elective surgeries in California were lifted in May and Chrissy decided to move forward with her plans to remove the breast implants. In an Instagram post, she wrote “A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!” She added that her fans should not worry about her as she was “just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort.” She went on to say “I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”
Teigen had her wish come true on June 11th as she had her breast implants removed. To celebrate the occasion of her successful breast implant removal, her manager sent her a custom cake that featured a tombstone with the words “RIP 2006-2020” above two large breasts that were concealed by a black bra. In addition, her four-year-old daughter made her a card that read “Bye boobies. Have fun pulling your boobies out. Love, Luna.”
Ayesha Curry – Curry is an actress, TV personality and author that made the decision last year to have her breast implants removed. During an interview with Working Mother last year, Curry told the story of how it did not take long for her to realize she was not happy with the decision to get breast implants soon after her pregnancy. Curry said. “It came in the form of me being depressed about my body. The intention was just to have [my breasts] lifted, but I came out with these bigger boobs I didn’t want…I got the most botched boob job on the face of the planet.”
Pamela Anderson – An actress that was known as much for the size of her breasts as she was for her acting in the 90s, Pamela Anderson decided to have her breast implants removed for aesthetic reasons back in 1999. While her breasts implants were being removed, her doctors found a leak in the implants. Anderson told “Entertainment Tonight”, “I feel like I’m a petite person, and just having these large breasts was, it just didn’t feel right anymore…I just didn’t feel like it looked very good. There were no medical problems…Actually, when I did remove them, they found a leak in one side.”
Yolanda Hadid – Hadid is the mother of models Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid as well as former model herself. The removal of her breast implants was revealed in a 2016 episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ after she learned that silicone from an implant was leaking into her body. When reflecting on the removal of her breast implants, she wrote “Living in a body free of breast implants, fillers, Botox, extensions. Your health is your wealth so please make educated decisions, research the partial information you’re given by our broken system before putting anything foreign in your body.”
Heidi Montag – Montag is a reality TV star that is famous for getting 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day and that list includes size F breast implants. She decided to get her breast implants removed in 2013 after experiencing some health concerns. She told People, “They were so heavy they were falling through the skin. It was just too heavy for my body and I was in pain and uncomfortable all the time. I thought, ‘What do I need this big of breasts for?’”
Victoria Beckham – The former Spice Girl and current designer and beauty brand founder has not been shy in recent years about discussing her breast implants. Back in 2014, she revealed that she had her breast augmentation reversed. A few years later, in 2017, she shared a piece of advice with her younger self by saying “Don’t mess with your boobs…just celebrate what you’ve got.”
