The Ongoing Mystery of Donald Trump's Hair

While the mystery surrounding Melania Trump and her suspected plastic surgeries is still an ongoing public discussion, the debate about Donald Trump’s hair shows no signs of fading in the near future. There has been speculation for years, in the press and the general public, regarding Trump and his hairline and whether or not its appearance is the result of a botched hair transplant.

There are some people who think that the Donald is wearing a toupee. There are others who note that he has worn the same hairstyle for years. As far back as 1976, there are photos of Trump wearing his hair in the same swept down on his forehead manner as he does today. Many hair experts note that men often choose a hairstyle in their 20s or 30s that they like and decide to keep wearing their hair that way for the rest of their lives.

When it comes to Donald Trump, the two reasons above have often been cited as the reason his hair looks the way it does on the campaign trail. However, there are two other reasons that are often mentioned as possible explanations for the appearance of his hair:

1. Some experts think that Trump is trying to hide a botched transplant, baldness or a flap surgery scar. The flap surgery theory first gained attention in a 1993 book about Donald Trump. In the book, “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump”, it was written that Trump confronted his wife, Ivana, about a botched scalp flap surgery. Trump had gone to a doctor that was recommended by Ivana. The Donald supposedly screamed at her that the doctor had ruined him as he pulled out handfuls of hair from his scalp. It comes as no surprise that Trump has denied having the surgery as well as the incident with Ivana.
2. A number of Trump insiders claim to have the answer to the mystery of Trump’s hair. They say that his hair is the result of a combination of hair transplants and hair spray that has been known to defy humidity. One person who worked with Trump at the Miss Universe pageant says that Trump never leaves home without CHI Helmet Head by Farouk Systems. The spray is used to add volume to the hair and beat the humidity.

While these theories can be added to the list of other speculation and gossip about his hair, the only person who might ever know the truth is Donald Trump. Until the day he decides to share the secret behind his hairline, the guessing game of Trump’s hair will continue whether or not he wins the election in November.
