This middle aged female patient had multiple prior eyelid surgeries and blepharoplasty, resulting in right lateral canthal angle distortion and lowering, unnatural right lower eyelid contour, and droopy upper eyelid. I came across Dr. Taban at the early stage of my life when I was still in India. The issue of an Indians getting admission into any American institutions triggered a loss of confidence in my look. When you are in an environment where you look different from others, you tend to lose the confidence of who you are. When I received the letter of Admission, I approached the issue of my eyebrows in front of my parents and they didn’t object to my going for a plastic surgery. Since it was in California, we started researching for an ophthalmologist in Beverly Hills and we came across Dr. Taban. My parents and I went through his profile and reviews and we came to a conclusion that we should check out his office. After our conversation with him, we decided he would be the best for the procedure and I would be flying down there. Followed by my mum, we got to his office and the staff were welcoming enough with much respect for us maybe due to the fact that we came from a long distance. The doctor was real and true in his explanations as he discussed the procedure pros and cons to us. However, that day was just a tip of the iceberg compared to the day of the procedure. Words can’t describe him because the bedside was awesome. His after-procedure care was superb and I now have a new look, I don’t feel inferior among peers. His work was so perfect and friends don’t know I did a plastic surgery until I told them myself.
I have suffered from droopy eyes for a long time (I am in my 40s). My eyes make me look older and tired all the time. I saw an article about eyelid surgery on Yahoo and decided to find someone help me get a better look to my eyes. I didn’t expect much because you can’t always believe what you read online by Dr. Taban had the proof to back up what I read on his website. I went to his office (FYI…arrive early because parking is a pain) and was greeted by his friendly front desk staff. They kept my anxiety under control by chatting with me while waiting for the doctor. Once I met Dr. Taban, I realized he had my best interests in mind and took the time to answer my questions about the procedure and what I would need to do afterwards to maintain the results. Fast forward a few months and I look more alert than ever before. Thanks to Dr. Taban, I feel younger and look better.
Dr Taban is the best! His attention to detail and delivery of results was truly amazing. I felt very comfortable and at ease from our consultation all the way through my healing process.
