Haha :) as entertaining as that story is, I have to admit I kind of disagree. Though bigger can be better in certain situations, I have had a few friends that have actually had to get breast reductions because of how uncomfortable they were and they all have told me that they are much happier after the operation. I feel like I see countless girls these days that are subconscious and trying so hard to fill the shoes of our societies perception of the perfect woman that they will go to any length needed to get more attention and have people notice them.
In my experience, everyone that I have talked to who has wanted to pursue breast implants are wanting to fulfill one of two things:
1. Their subconscious feelings-- in which case I completely understand the yearn for confidence and think it can truly improve the overall life and confidence of someone feeling this way. -or-
2. Their need for attention-- I feel like in our society today, most of the people pursuing breast implant surgery fall under this category. You will also notice that these women are not usually satisfied by one surgery, can be impossible to please, and tend to continue on the cosmetic surgery path after breast implants.
I honestly just hope people start trying to understand their motives PRIOR to booking these surgeries, because I cant believe how many 17-21 year old girls I see walking down the street trying to acheive the "bigger is better" rule, though many of these girls could have been just as satisfied after spending a couple days at the psychologist office talking about why they dont feel adequite enough.
